It all began with a rather unusual request: a colleague of a friend asked if we also reupholstered seats. After receiving some photos, I explained that reupholstering seats is often not worthwhile, as the cost often exceeds that of new products.

During one of my catalog distribution visits, I happened upon the Hotel Belvedere. To my surprise, I recognized the chairs from the photos I'd been sent. At that moment, I realized the owner, Mr. Marcello Soffiati, was the initial contact. After a brief conversation, we set up a meeting to discuss reupholstering the chairs and suggesting new items.

Subsequent visits were numerous: samples of chairs, fabrics, and complex discussions on how to implement the project down to the last detail. Finally, Marcello and his family revealed to me that they had purchased an adjacent hotel and wanted to redo the entire restaurant hall, integrating part of the new structure! The project was entrusted to the expert hands of the De Florian furniture studio, but Marcello insisted on designing the chairs with us.

After numerous meetings and simulations, the choice fell on the Jefferson and Pepper models. The Jefferson chairs have a slightly shorter seat to accommodate smaller spaces and a straighter, sloping backrest to maximize available space. The Pepper model, similar to the Jefferson but with a rounder, higher backrest, was chosen for the round and oval tables.

The ultimate satisfaction is the greatest reward we can receive.

The Jefferson chairs and armchairs are made of beige-brownish-grey faux leather for the seats, while the backrest is in forest green velvet. The Pepper chairs have retained the same seat, with a quilted yellow velvet backrest.

For the newly purchased hotel space, the Jesolo and Cloud models were chosen, with matching stools. Choosing the colors was a long and complex process, with De Florian having the final say, but also involving me in shipping samples and fabrics.

The Jesolo chairs feature a brown velvet backrest, while the Cloud stools are in burgundy velvet. All the chairs have black legs for a sleek, seamless finish.

The existing benches were straight and uncomfortable, so we provided about fifty cushions to make the guests' experience more comfortable. Marcello and his team were very pleased with the final result and appreciated our dedication to the entire project.

It's been a long journey, but seeing the satisfaction in their eyes is the greatest reward our company can receive. I'll go on and on about how much I've appreciated their hospitality and genuine generosity, but that's another story.

La storia con l’Hotel Belvedere è stata una delle più lunghe e articolate della mia carriera…

[25

post-15251","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-wellness-resort
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.7 -
