Hotel Majorka

From Dublin to Plaus one way.

The Hotel Majorka in Andalo is one of those projects that represent the essence of collaboration between design and craftsmanship. The relationship with the owners has always been formal, and the work has been carried out in close collaboration with architect Tatiana Bottamedi, a professional with a strong creative sensibility, with whom I always collaborate enthusiastically.

The project involved the renovation of some rooms, with a touch of elegance and personalisation. Architect Bottamedi proposed matching armchairs and poufs for each room. The model chosen for the poufs was the Dublino, while the model Plauswas chosen for the armchairs, but with a special feature: a decorative hole on the backrest, which made each piece unique and distinctive.

The real magic of this project lies in the customisation of the colours. Each room has its own colour theme, with poufs in various colours: white, green and yellow, to create a harmonious and coordinated environment. The fabrics used were chosen for their beauty and functionality. Washable and durable, they are perfect for everyday use in a luxury hotel.

An atmosphere of modern and elegant design.

The legs of the seats were polished and sample-dyed to ensure a perfect match with the rest of the furnishings. This level of attention to detail made the project not only beautiful but also consistent and refined.

One of the most interesting challenges was the creation of the hole in the back of the Plaus armchairs, a request that added a distinctive and innovative design element. This seemingly simple detail required precision and care, proving once again that quality craftsmanship can turn a simple piece of furniture into a work of art.

All in all, the project at Hotel Majorka in Andalo is a perfect example of how meticulous attention to detail and close collaboration with an experienced architect can create unique and fascinating spaces. Customer satisfaction and the beauty of the furnishings are the best reward for our commitment and dedication.
