A thunderbolt in the streets of Sirmione.
During one of our days dedicated to the presentation of the new catalogue, I ventured to the wonderful villa at the end of the pedestrian area of Sirmione. I remember I had Rita's company mobile phone with me, because we had split up to optimise time. At the Hotel Mon Repos in Sirmione, the relationship with the owner, Signora Giulia, and her partner, Paolo, was always very informal and pleasant.
Upon arrival, I found Paolo sitting at the entrance and Giulia busy at the reception with customers. After a brief moment of waiting, Paolo told me to wait for Giulia. When she finally freed herself, I introduced myself and, to the surprise of both of them, discovered that the meeting was entirely fortuitous and that neither of them had made any appointments yet. When you say the right person, at the right time and in the right place! They were looking for someone to redo the table tops in the breakfast room to eliminate tablecloths and reduce laundry costs.

After explaining the many possibilities of finishing the tops, we made an appointment to discuss the project further. During the next visit, I knew Giulia might also be interested in changing the chairs, so I brought some samples with me, but didn't show them to her right away. After discussing the table tops, I suggested that she also take a look at the chairs. Giulia, initially worried that she would have to reconsider her planned budget, eventually agreed to see the samples.
And here came the thunderbolt: Giulia immediately fell in love with the Paris model, with forest green velvet and light green cord, which perfectly echoed the wallpaper behind the buffet. Despite initial hesitations, the aesthetic and comfort result given by the Paris prevailed and they confirmed the order for the armchairs as well.
The end result was exceptional: Giulia was overjoyed and even Paolo, initially more reticent, was very pleased with the work. In the end, the Hotel Mon Repos gained not only in functionality, but also in comfort and elegance, and we are happy to have contributed to its renovation.
