Iridescent reflections among the peaks of the Alps.
During one of my usual catalogue distributions, I had the pleasure of visiting the Hotel Val in Selva Val Gardena. Here I met Mr Armin, who told me about his desire to renovate the chairs in a small hall. The old faux leather covers were cracking, and with the opportunity to redo the bar, they decided to tackle both projects.
The bar, entirely renovated by a decorator, became the focus of our intervention. After much discussion and second thoughts, the owners chose Lione armchairs, upholstered in a fabric from English Decor. This striped velvet, with its iridescent effect, turned the chairs into real gems.
The colour selection process was not easy. We went back three times to discuss the various options. Initially, Armin wanted a crumpled velvet, but it turned out to be too gold. Subsequently, we tried platinum and silver shades, but in the end, the choice fell on an iridescent velvet that won everyone over.
A magical fabric that changes according to reflections.
The iridescence of the fabric causes the armchairs to change colour and reflection depending on the light, creating a bright and refined atmosphere. Placed in a bar surrounded by a veranda, these armchairs capture and reflect natural light, making the environment even more welcoming and bright.
The result was much appreciated, and the armchairs received many compliments from guests. The combination of the luxurious fabric and the strategic location in the bar made the intervention a success.
I am confident that the next step is the renovation of the small hall, to complete the work and give Hotel Val a final touch of splendour. The owners were extremely pleased with our work, and we are delighted to have helped create an ambience that is as refined as it is unique.
