Sunset Colors: A Interior Design Project with Evelyn

In the picturesque setting of Torbole sul Garda, the Park Hotel Eden, owned by Margherita and Walter Azzolini, welcomes guests to a refined atmosphere. The design challenge for their reception—an intimate and cozy space—revolved around a central visual element: a striking, full-wall image of Lake Garda at sunset.

Our meeting with the owners, which began the previous year at the Riva del Garda fair, culminated perfectly in our encounter with the Evelyn chair. After an initial research phase, Evelyn immediately proved to be the perfect fit: it was truly love at first sight.

To ensure perfect aesthetics and fit, we conducted an on-site test by placing a sample of Evelyn in the reception area. The result immediately confirmed the chair's harmonious fit with the surrounding space.

The color scheme has undergone a fascinating evolution. Initially oriented toward the classic lake hues (light blue, azure, and turquoise), clients were won over by a warmer, more vibrant choice, capable of engaging directly with the background:

A soft velvet in burnt orange tones, which faithfully recalls the warm sunset lights on the wall behind.

A refined profile with blue cord and a matching cushion in the same shade, for a profound and never banal reference to the shades of water.

Legs in matt black painted metal, to ensure a contemporary and light touch.

A welcoming and complete corner

The Evelyn armchair not only fits into the reception area, but enhances its entire visual identity, integrating with the large print of the lake.

Completing the waiting area was the Trix coffee table in brushed ash, chosen in a black finish to faithfully match the base of the armchairs. This custom furnishing solution fully satisfied the client, confirming that attention to detail and the wait for the perfect piece always pay off.
