Residence Ambiez

Tailor-made customization: a unique project for the Ambiez Residence.

The project was born from a visit to one of our trade show stands by the owners of Residence Ambiez, a highly regarded hotel in the Madonna di Campiglio area. They were interested in a customized solution, not only in the customary choice of model, fabric, and frame finish, but also in the size of the product.

The brief called for a completely bespoke design. No standard features. Maximum customization. There were two spaces to furnish: the living room and an adjacent reading/internet room. The lounge required a certain number of seats in a limited space. This requirement required the production of a smaller frame horizontally. The lounge was accommodated by adapting a standard Tromso chair (BS526S), while the Glasgow armchair (BS533A) was chosen for the lounge.

Maximum customization for the new rooms.

The pieces intended for this space were produced by inserting a metal plate into the seat bottom, from which the four legs extend, mounted to the seat in a pyramid shape, so that the legs do not exceed the perimeter of the seat. Furthermore, based on the client's experience, the areas to be furnished, particularly the common area, are frequented year-round, imposing a certain degree of wear and tear on the furniture. Consequently, the production team used special wood and metal reinforcements for the frame construction and the upholstery process, and the project samples were subjected to dozens of hours of stress testing. The chosen fabric was eco-nubuck in a sage green, customized with the client's logo and graphics.
