Why Iroko?
Iroko is a tropical African hardwood, often called "African teak." Rich in natural oils, it is naturally resistant to water, UV rays, temperature changes, fungi, and insects, without the need for chemical treatments. It is among the most reliable woods for outdoor furniture: stable, sturdy, and durable even with continuous exposure to the elements. Over time, if left untreated, it develops a warm silver-gray patina.
