A collaboration born almost by chance, transformed into a highly successful project. It all began with the presentation of our catalog to Susanna of the Hotel Freina Mountain Lifestyle Hotel in Selva di Val Gardena; a few days later, the owner contacted us again for a consultation on the restyling of the bar area. The client already had a project underway, but was looking for inspiration for the finishes of the stools, benches, and counter.
We arrived at the first meeting with Susanna and her children Verena and David with a very clear and detailed vision, proposing solutions capable of combining elegance, comfort and design.
The choices of design and materials
To give the space a strong and refined identity, we focused on exclusive furnishing elements and tailored fabrics:
Clio Model Stool: Selected for its clean lines, in elegant brushed ash wood and with a black frame designed to highlight the upholstery.
Fine Fabrics: We have chosen a fine velvet in a sophisticated diamond platinum shade.
Texture Games: Within the velvet collection we have combined three different finishes (smooth, crumpled and an abstract print) to create visual dynamism without sacrificing elegance.
The making of upholstered furniture
While the hotel's interior designer took care of the load-bearing structures, our team took care of the entire artisanal production of the upholstered furniture:
The Counter: Covered in solid-color velvet, enhanced by vertically stitched padding that slims the structure.
Stools and Benches: Featuring solid-color velvet seats and backrests embellished with an abstract print texture.
The Result
The contrast between the black of the structures and the brightness of the platinum velvet has transformed the bar into a true pearl set in the heart of the hotel.
The end result was amazing: the Hotel Freina family was so thrilled with the work done, that we're already working on future projects for the coming months.
