The history of our collaboration with the Hotel Mirabello in Fiera di Primiero is one of continuity, trust, and a shared vision for the future. It all began last year, when the Tavernaro family entrusted us with the creation of the chairs and armchairs for the hotel's new rooms. This first step laid the foundation for a solid professional relationship, founded on quality details and mutual understanding.
The most recent chapter of this story was written in February, among the pavilions of the Riva del Garda trade fair. Mr. Tavernaro stopped by our stand: it was supposed to be a simple courtesy visit, but as we chatted, a new need emerged. The hotel felt the need to renovate its outdoor spaces, creating a calling card worthy of its hospitality.
We met shortly after to shape our ideas. The goal was clear from the start: to create elegant, welcoming outdoor spaces that would engage with the stunning surrounding landscape.
The proposed solutions immediately won over Mr. Tavernaro. We wanted to differentiate the outdoor spaces to offer guests different experiences, choosing two distinct yet complementary models:
The side relaxation area: In the largest area, next to the entrance, we imagined a true open-air living room. Here, we showcased the Rio de Janeiro line, featuring a sofa, two lounge chairs, and matching coffee tables, ideal for moments of absolute relaxation.
The passageway and breakfast area: Closer to the entrance and breakfast room, we placed chairs and armchairs from the Cancun collection, paired with custom-made round tables. The metal bases have been specially treated to withstand the elements, while the tabletops are made of solid wood slats.
For all the outdoor furniture, the choice of material fell on fine iroko wood, treated with a special oil that makes it completely water-repellent without obscuring its natural beauty. Even the technical components were meticulously crafted: Dryfeel® rubber was chosen for the padding—which resists moisture and resists rain, snow, and sun—and covered with outdoor fabrics in a refined beige hue.
Seizing the momentum of this renovation, the Tavernaro family asked us to extend the project to two important internal areas as well.
The first was the new dining room, a completely renovated, high-altitude space. Knowing Mr. Tavernaro's passion for the warmth of exposed wood, we suggested the Aosta chair. It was love at first sight: a comfortable seat, complete with armrests and an elegant opening in the backrest. For the fabrics, we worked closely with the interior designers who were creating the dining room benches, coordinating the materials to achieve a perfectly harmonious look.
Finally, we crossed the threshold of the spa. To complete the wellness area, we provided four Round armchairs. Again, the water-repellent iroko wood frame was paired with advanced technical padding and upholstery, specifically designed to withstand direct contact with water, humidity, and guests wearing swimsuits.
Seeing the finished project, where every chair, sofa, and table found its perfect place, was a great satisfaction. But the greatest joy was, once again, the reaction of the Tavernaros: their profound satisfaction with the final result—both interior and exterior—is the most beautiful seal on a collaboration that continues to grow over time.
