Let's sugarcoat the pill a little.

The call came from Dr. Eleonora Freddi, a dear friend of Margherita, our client at the Hotel Cerana. Margherita, with her infectious enthusiasm, had recommended that she contact me to furnish the waiting room of their dental practice. And so, between one trip and another, I found myself in Pinzolo, ready to transform a space that, as is often the case with dental practices, tends to be a bit too sterile and lacking in welcoming atmospheres.

The waiting room was small, welcoming, and, above all, needed a splash of color to banish the anxiety typical of dental visits. The idea came almost spontaneously, inspired by a multicolored coat rack already in the room. We therefore decided to opt for the Vancouver model, a comfortable chair with modern lines, available in a palette of bright and cheerful colors. The goal? To create an environment that would put both children and adults at ease, banishing the sense of tension typical of dental clinics.

For a less stressful wait.

In the center of the room, two Detroit coffee tables, one rectangular and one round, stacked at double height and in a natural color, completed the decor. For the upholstery, we chose nubuck for the seat and printed nubuck for the backrest, adding a touch of creativity and movement. The result? An explosion of color that transformed the wait into a less stressful and decidedly more pleasant experience.

Dr. Freddi and her staff are thrilled with the outcome. The idea of making the space more welcoming and colorful was met with great appreciation, especially considering the young patients who often dread visits to the dentist. The success of this project is an example of how creative décor can truly make a difference, even in the most unexpected places.
