When Dr. Borghesan, already owner of the Hotel Le Soleil, acquired the Hotel Byron Bellavista in Jesolo, he immediately turned to us to renovate the lobby and terrace. He was already familiar with our work and had a solid trust in us. So, he sent us some plans and renderings of the planned work on the wood paneling and interior walls, and we began developing our proposals.
The final choice fell on the Chicago model for armchairs and sofas, accompanied by the Detroit coffee table arrangement, featuring a low rectangular coffee table and a slightly taller round coffee table. For fabrics, we opted for a sage green nubuck leather, paired with an ivory nubuck leather and the Baranda fabric, featuring a geometric design combining sage and cream. The chair legs, rigorously black, added a touch of elegance and modernity. This combination created a relaxing and fresh atmosphere, ideal for welcoming guests.
In some corners of the lobby, we added high-backed Abu Dhabi armchairs, entirely upholstered in sage-colored eco-nubuck. This contrast of heights and fabrics brought dynamism and originality to the space.
Sturdy seats for guaranteed greater resistance.
Moving outside, on the terrace, the Rio de Janeiro model took center stage, with a transparent finish for the armchairs, sofas, and coffee tables. Here, we used Iris fabric, a 100% recycled plastic material produced in Piedmont. Each piece was accompanied by a barcode to track its production, underscoring our commitment to sustainability. The decorative pillows, measuring 45x45 cm, were made from Maya fabric, also recycled, in a delicate blue that added a touch of liveliness to the overall look.
During the first delivery, Dr. Borghesan expressed a desire to add a few extra touches, including decorative doilies for the tables. With great attention to detail, we handcrafted these doilies, adding a few armchairs and sofas to complete the decor.
My relationship with Dr. Borghesan is based on solid mutual trust. His instructions were always simple: "I trust you; you do the work." This project strengthened our collaboration, confirming that dialogue and creativity, combined with quality and professionalism, are still highly valued qualities in a company.
