Let's sugarcoat a little.
The call came from Dr. Eleonora Freddi, a very dear friend of Margherita, our client at Hotel Cerana. Margherita, with her infectious enthusiasm, had recommended that she contact me to furnish the waiting room of their dental office. And so, in between trips, I found myself in Pinzolo, ready to transform an environment that, as is often the case in dental centers, tends to be a bit too antiseptic and lacking in cozy ambiance.
The waiting room was small, cozy and, above all, needed a splash of color to chase away the anxiety typical of dental visits. The idea arose almost spontaneously, inspired by a multicolored coat rack already in the room. So we decided to opt for the Vancouver model, a comfortable armchair with modern lines, declined in a bright and cheerful color palette. The goal? To create an environment that could put both children and adults at ease, removing that sense of tension typical of outpatient clinics.
For less stressful waiting.
In the center of the room, two Detroit coffee tables, one rectangular and one round, stacked double-height and in a natural hue, completed the furniture. For upholstery, we chose a Nubuck for the seat and a printed Nubuck for the back, adding a touch of creativity and movement. The result? An explosion of colors that transformed waiting into a less stressful and definitely more enjoyable experience.
Dr. Freddi and her staff are thrilled with the result. The idea of making the environment more welcoming and colorful was received with great appreciation, especially thinking of young patients who often dread visiting the dentist. The success of this project is an example of how furniture creativity can really make a difference, even in the most unexpected places.
