The challenge of furnishing: a unique project for the Hotel Castello Lake Front & Living Suite.
It's hard to find a project as challenging as providing furnishing solutions for one of the most well-known and frequented hotel establishments on Lake Garda. A magnificent accommodation facility nestled along the shores of the lake, Hotel Castello Lake Front & Living Suite has truly put us to the test, both as designers and manufacturers. After lengthy discussions and attempts, we arrived at a rather creative custom solution. The restaurant area is very spacious. Open spaces, subtly delineated into smaller islands, which escape notice at first glance. There was a serious risk of turning it into a theater.
Thanks to a magnificent team effort, the availability of the owners, and the professionals involved in the project, especially architect Sara Righetto who coordinated the project phases and suppliers with true professionalism, the final result was a success. We contributed to the overall project with a completely customized chair model starting from the Hamburg model (BS491A), with a beech wood frame, upholstery in solid-color econabuk, and in three color variants. We combined pastel colors ranging from pink to brown to green, appropriately distributed among those imperceptible spaces.
A creative and collaborative challenge.
To ensure aesthetic consistency and avoid diminishing the final result, the various shades were harmonized in a clear yet discreet manner: each piece was finished with the same gray-colored piping. Matching-colored cushions completed the composition. For the central island, intended for guests in larger groups, we proposed a seating arrangement that I would describe as a fusion between a bench and a sofa, custom-made, also adorned with gray piping, which I feel can be described as the signature at the bottom of an artistic work resulting from a genuine and effective collaboration.
