Unique Lighting for Hotel Eccher.
Wonderful lighting in the restaurant of Hotel Eccher. Facing west, spared from the extensive shadowy areas typical of mountainous regions, the owners of this hotel in Val di Sole visited our booth at Riva del Garda, during which they shared with me their intention to renovate the furnishings of the common areas. Upon receiving the task, I immediately highlighted to my fellow designers the interesting peculiarity of the room.
The sunlight, which almost always enters from the side, should be the quality to enhance first and foremost. We made several attempts testing the reflectivity of some fabrics that, according to our experience, were suitable for our purpose. The choice fell on a very particular type of fabric, in ice sage iridescent velvet, combined with a geometric print on the backrest. The proposed model of the Bruxelles armchair (BS523A) was greeted with great enthusiasm.
Enhancing the environment.
I must admit that seeing the interplay of reflections between the set tableware and the chairs arranged around the tables made me want to sit by the window and simply enjoy the room.
