Hide and Seek in the Mountains.

Who would have imagined that a small hotel nestled in the Vermiglio mountains could hold such a surprise? It all started thanks to a colleague who pointed us to the Hotel Alpino. “Lara,” he said, “Augusto from the Alpino needs chairs. Bring him the catalog!” And so, with Rita at my side, we embarked on this new mission.

After an initial presentation, it was Augusto himself who contacted us to begin designing the products he had in mind for his living room. The choice fell on the Oland model, a small faux leather chair. But there was a problem. We needed to identify the exact faux leather model already used on their benches by touch and sight alone. It took us a month of research, traveling heaven and earth, to locate the manufacturer and ensure the exact same finish.

Satisfaction and pleasant discoveries in the mountains.

Although the height between the new chairs and the old benches was visually identical to the centimeter, Augusto pointed out that the seats on the chairs were lower, and he was right! In fact, as we later discovered, the elastic straps on our chairs made them more comfortable than the old ones, but at the cost of lowering the seat height by a couple of centimeters compared to the bench. Of course, if a person two meters tall were to sit down, they would find the chair a bit small, but compromises are necessary. In the end, Mr. Augusto seemed satisfied with the new look of the room.

In the end, the Hotel Alpino turned out to be a pleasant discovery. A little gem, hidden in the mountains, definitely worth a stay, enjoying great traditional cuisine and stunning scenery.
