Some stories begin almost by chance, born from a first curious glance at the stands at a trade fair in Bolzano. It was there that Mrs. Verena's daughter approached our space: she was looking for something special, an idea that could breathe new life and warmth into the dining room of her family's hotel.
From that informal chat, a spontaneous connection was born. Shortly thereafter, we found ourselves directly in the building, welcomed by Mrs. Verena. Experiencing those spaces, observing how the natural light caressed the room, and listening to their wishes was crucial to understanding what the space truly needed.
The choice almost naturally fell on our Jefferson model, a timeless piece. But the real magic came when we began customizing it for them. To ensure the chairs fit seamlessly around the existing tables—without restricting space and ensuring maximum comfort for each guest—we removed three centimeters from the seat. A small, sartorial touch, almost invisible to the eye, but capable of making all the difference in the livability of the room.
Even the dress we dressed her in tells a story of great delicacy:
For the seat and backrest, we chose the enveloping softness of warm brown nubuck, a deep shade that immediately invites you to relax.
The inside of the backrest, however, opens up to a surprise of light: a light fabric, in shades of beige, embellished with tiny hazelnut details that match the color of the seat.
The result? A welcoming, bright, and refined room, where every detail seems to have always been there. Seeing the joy and satisfaction in Mrs. Verena's eyes was the most beautiful confirmation for us: when design meets listening, hospitality becomes pure emotion.
