Every project has its own character, and the one for the Hotel Piccolo Tibet Mountain Resort in Livigno has told a story of balance and detail from the very beginning.
When Omar and Beatrice contacted me to complete the breakfast room decor, I immediately understood that it wasn't just a matter of adding furnishings, but a delicate task: giving shape to an already defined space, with a vibrant orange bench and natural wood furniture, without disrupting the existing harmony.
The challenge was clear: to introduce new upholstered armchairs that would interact with the existing colours and materials, maintaining a discreet elegance and without ever being invasive.
Carefully following the architect's instructions, we chose the Plaus model, a timeless classic distinguished by its soft and welcoming design. The beige velvet finish was designed to add sobriety and warmth, creating a balanced counterpoint to the vibrant orange. Another important detail is the elastic cord that trims the armchair, which matches the exact shade of the bench, a subtle yet effective chromatic reference that ensures visual coherence and refinement.
The natural wood legs completed the choice, perfectly complementing the existing tables and reinforcing the harmonious dialogue between the new and existing furnishings. Upon delivery, Omar expressed sincere satisfaction: the final result perfectly reflected their vision and enhanced the welcoming feel of the breakfast room.
But the project didn't stop there. The collaboration with Omar and Beatrice also took us to the spa area, where we needed to combine comfort and extreme functionality. Here, we created three Frankfurt armchairs, designed to withstand the humidity of the pool environment without sacrificing elegance.
The iroko wood legs, treated with a specific protective oil, ensure durability, while the Amelia outdoor upholstery, in a fresh white shade, adds brightness and a clean aesthetic. This fabric, entirely made in Italy and 100% recycled from plastic bottles, offers added value: sustainability and respect for the environment.
A project that speaks of style, coherence, and care, in which every detail has been designed to combine elegance, functionality, and responsibility.
