Smeraldo Suites & SPA Luxury Hotel

A color that makes BLOOM!

We met Vittoriana, owner of the Hotel Smeraldo in San Benedetto del Tronto, during a trade show in Rimini. A very kind and approachable woman, Vittoriana was immediately struck by our Bloom armchair, upholstered in a purple fabric that perfectly matched the sofa in her hotel lobby. The problem the owners of this wonderful hotel encountered was a lack of interest from guests in making more use of the lounge bar; therefore, they needed to propose a project to renovate the bar and lobby furnishings to ensure a longer and more comfortable stay.

After the fair, we immediately scheduled an appointment and went to visit. Vittoriana had a specific request: a very enveloping armchair. She showed us an image of a large armchair—almost a throne, with soft, welcoming lines—and we immediately directed her to our Diana model, an extremely elegant and comfortable armchair with a chromed steel base and a swivel seat. We alternated the Diana armchairs with the Bloom and Zefiro armchairs, all upholstered in shades of purple.

For the Diana armchairs, we worked with their interior designer to reupholster the sofa, using the same fabric. For the Zefiro armchairs, we chose a mauve-colored iridescent velvet, while for the Bloom armchairs, we chose a matte eco-nubuck with a small print, also in mauve tones. The armchair legs were stained medium-dark walnut, matching the bar counter.

We also added double-height round coffee tables, one larger and one lower, to complete the decor. During the negotiations, we video-conferenced with Vittoriana's interior designer, who provided us with valuable advice on fabric colors and table sizes.

The end result was elegant and, above all, inviting, completely transforming the atmosphere of the bar and lobby. Mrs. Vittoriana was delighted with the change, and we are proud to have contributed to making the Hotel Smeraldo bar worthy of the rest of its wonderful waterfront property.
