The magic behind the furniture: one step at a time.

The Hotel Astor in Limone sul Garda has always had something special. Situated in an enchanting location, overlooking the serene waters of the lake, the hotel is a very dear client of ours. When Stefania, the owner, contacted me for the second time, I knew another exciting project was on the horizon.

After the TV room, it was now the turn of the lakefront bar area. With a breathtaking window, the challenge was to enhance both the interior furnishings and the dazzling, at times kaleidoscopic, light that streamed in from outside. This is where our new challenge began. Thanks to Stefania's trust in our designs—something I can only appreciate—we opted for luminous, iridescent fabrics combined with a high-performance eco-nubuck. We featured one of our flagship models, the "Memphis" armchair (BS478A), and a newcomer that timidly made its way among the play of colors and the sparkling energy of the fabrics, the Jefferson armchair (BS629A).

And for the colors? We took inspiration from the very nature that embraces the entire structure: ice and petrol blue, reflecting the hotel and the lake.

Really sophisticated.

But every coin has its downside. And in this case, alas, it was the hotel stairs again. Picturesque and visually striking, they conveniently guide guests with bags and trolleys into the main lobby. But when it comes to transporting armchairs and sofas, those stairs become a sort of test of skill. Our models from the Dublinoo collection—the armchair (BS528P), ottoman (BS528BL), and sofa (BS528L)—didn't wait to arrive. They filled the rooms of this magical place.

Stefania, with her keen eye and a touch of humor, even noticed our little anecdote about stairs, which was also published in the last edition of this catalog. So I thought it best to keep this tradition alive and mention them again as a good omen for future projects. And so, among shimmering fabrics and provocative stairs, the art of interior design comes to life, one step at a time!
