«"Every great restyling project begins with a spark: the desire to transform an impersonal space into a place that tells a story and makes everyone who sets foot there feel at home."»
When Mrs. Ilaria contacted us, guided by word of mouth from a mutual partner, the Hotel Airport Verona was faced with a significant challenge: infusing warmth, elegance, and character into spaces that risked appearing too cold and sterile. The mission was clear: redesign the visual and tactile experience of the seating in the restaurant, bar, and breakfast room, creating a harmonious dialogue with the existing color palette and finishes.
For the restaurant area, we chose the Lione armchair, a symbol of versatility and enveloping comfort, enhanced by the distinctive opening in the backrest. On a neutral base dominated by white and gray tones, we wove a sophisticated chromatic pattern that ranges from the delicate notes of Peach Pink to the depth of Avio Blue.
The true sartorial touch lies in the play of contrasts: the Avio fabric chairs are finished with a contrasting Peach Pink piping, while the Pesca chairs elegantly match the Avio cord. This haute couture detail visually intertwines the two souls of the room. For the bar, the Lione stool echoes the same harmony with a refined melange fabric.
Moving toward the adjacent bar area, the atmosphere shifts toward warmer, more enveloping notes. Here, the Lione armchair is adorned in the enveloping shades of Ochre and Copper: the hammered velvet of the backrest engages with the materiality of the seat, while the Avio cord expertly ties this space into the rest of the room.
In the two intimate lounge areas, we created two coordinated living rooms designed by Dublinoo. The sofas and armchairs are distinguished by a dramatic double upholstery: an abstract-patterned velvet on the back and a simple solid color on the front. Completing the corner, the round coffee tables with stackable tray tops at different heights add a touch of functional dynamism and class.
In the breakfast room, a space dedicated to awakening the senses, the goal was to break the monotony with style. We introduced a chair with clean, essential lines, pairing a modern eco-nubuck seat with a textured, structured fabric on the backrest. The reference to ochre tones and the matte black metal frames lend a lively, contemporary feel to the entire space.
The Result: Today, the Hotel Airport Verona is no longer just a place of passage, but a destination rich in personality and atmosphere, where every seat reflects meticulous attention to detail and a welcome that begins with the eyes.
