At the Hotel Cristallo in Andalo, our collaboration has been consolidated over time. After furnishing the dining room and lobby, last year we were commissioned to renovate the bar area, in collaboration with architect Tatiana Bottamedi. The result? A completely transformed bar, so much so that it feels like a different place.
For this project, we chose the Lione model, with a few modifications: we increased the thickness of the seat rubber and shortened the legs, while keeping the overall height the same. This small trick gave the illusion of a more padded seat, lending it a more armchair-like feel.
The fabric chosen is a washable and stain-resistant nubuck, essential for a bar frequented by cyclists and skiers who often leave traces of their outdoor adventures. The hotel, located at the foot of the cable car leading to the pass, is a meeting place for sports enthusiasts, both winter and summer. The armchairs, in a refined mauve-pink color, add a touch of elegance and romance, creating a delicate contrast with the brown-toned tables and benches with geometric designs.
A whimsical way of doing things and an experience worth telling.
Every project has its little unexpected issues, and working with the hotel owner is always a colorful experience. Despite being very demanding and precise, she's always been satisfied and continues to choose our products. One funny episode was when, during the closing process, she preemptively scolded us for a possible late delivery, even though we'd never missed a deadline!
The delivery was impeccably timed. However, the owner, with her imaginative manner, still gave us a "scolding"—perhaps to avoid breaking tradition! Ultimately, however, the satisfaction with the work done was evident, and the Cristallo bar now shines with a new splendor, ready to welcome guests with elegance and style.
