Hotel Val

Shimmering reflections among the Alpine peaks.

During one of my regular catalog distributions, I had the pleasure of visiting the Hotel Val in Selva Val Gardena. There, I met Mr. Armin, who told me about his desire to renovate the chairs in a small dining room. The old faux leather upholstery was cracking, and with the opportunity to redo the bar, they decided to tackle both projects.

The bar, completely renovated by an interior designer, became the focal point of our project. After much discussion and deliberation, the owners chose Lione armchairs, upholstered in an English Decor fabric. This striped velvet, with its iridescent effect, transformed the chairs into true gems.

The color selection process wasn't easy. We returned three times to discuss the various options. Initially, Armin wanted a crushed velvet, but it turned out to be too gold. Later, we experimented with platinum and silver tones, but ultimately, we settled on an iridescent velvet that everyone loved.

A magical fabric that changes depending on the reflections.

The iridescent fabric makes the armchairs change color and reflections depending on the light, creating a bright and refined atmosphere. Placed in a bar surrounded by a veranda, these armchairs capture and reflect natural light, making the space even more welcoming and vibrant.

The result was highly appreciated, and the chairs received numerous compliments from guests. The combination of luxurious fabric and strategic location in the bar made the project a success.

I'm confident the next step will be renovating the small hall, completing the project and giving Hotel Val a final touch of splendor. The owners were extremely pleased with our work, and we're delighted to have contributed to creating such a refined and unique atmosphere.
