Wellness Hotel Mayer & Splendid

The perfect dialogue between history and contemporary design

The collaboration with the Meyer Hotel in Desenzano stems from the desire of owners Stefania and Paolo Meyer to renovate the breakfast and bar area. Given that this is a historic building with timeless charm, passed down through generations and perfectly preserved, the real design challenge was to incorporate contemporary furnishings that would interact with the existing architecture, enhancing it without detracting from its soul.

After a careful study and design phase supported by renderings, the choice for the breakfast room fell on Leone armchairs, configured in sage green nubuck leather and alternating with a salmon-colored nubuck version with a delicate printed texture, designed to enliven the space. The focal points of the room are the tables with a modern four-legged pyramid base, embellished with a Forest Green finish top that perfectly complements the hues of the period floor.

In the bar area, maintaining the same color palette, we opted for the Tucson collection: the armchairs enhance the existing bench, while the area near the window features matching stools and high tables. To create visual continuity, all the Tucson seats are finished with brown piping that matches the tones of the historic bench, which is complemented by decorative cushions in sage and salmon hues.

To complete the project, the buffet area was set up with custom-made tables, both in shape and size, ensuring perfect material and color consistency throughout the space.

A far-reaching project where respect for tradition meets the evolution of comfort, creating an exclusive and timeless welcoming atmosphere.
