A Stylish Retreat in the Heart of the Dolomites

There are phone calls that arrive at the most unexpected moments, capable of transforming a summer break with the family into the beginning of a wonderful creative journey. On the other end of the line was Giovanna from the Hotel Riposo al Bosco in San Vigilio di Marebbe. With our catalog in hand and a dream of renovating the entire ground floor of her hotel in her heart, she was looking for a partner with whom she could share much more than just a simple supply: she was looking for a profound understanding.

After the initial meetings and an initial selection of models, the project went through a period of waiting. Giovanna explored other avenues, spoke with various interior designers, and observed dozens of chairs. But true beauty always leaves an indelible mark: no alternative could displace the memory of our Bruxelles chair. When we met again, it was clear that only its enveloping silhouette could capture the soul of the new dining room.

For this space, we created a refined and contemporary play of contrasts: a matte black stained wooden frame embraces an elegant two-tone upholstery in shades of gray—darker on the seat, lighter on the backrest—embellished with contrasting piping that precisely defines its tailored profile. A perfect balance, capable of harmoniously pairing with the custom-made side panels created by the interior designer.

The welcoming narrative continued in the lobby, designed as a mountain lounge where time seems to slow down. Here, the Dublino collection was chosen: generously sized sofas and armchairs with high, slender backs that envelop guests in a cocoon of pure comfort.

The tones here have become even warmer and more enveloping: the mocha-colored seat pairs with the dove gray backrest in a soft antiqued velvet, warm and caressing to the touch. To complete the look, like little design gems, we've added poufs in striped velvet with silvery hues, capable of adding points of light and a vibrant personality to the entire space.

The end result is an atmosphere suspended between elegance and the warmth of home, which captured the eyes and hearts of the owners and their guests from the very first moment.
