In the Heart of Venice: The Art of Made-to-Measure at Osteria Santa Marina

Venice is a city of exquisite details, where beauty thrives in the interplay of history, art, and hospitality. In Campo Santa Marina, Mr. Agostino and Mr. Danilo passionately preserve the authentic spirit of Osteria Santa Marina. Their relationship with us began through word of mouth and trust: fascinated by the work done for their colleagues at Ristorante Da Celeste in Pellestrina, they wanted to breathe new life and a new look into their dining room.

Arriving in Venice with samples and proposals means experiencing a unique architecture, where every inch counts and tradition demands the utmost respect. After an initial meeting at the osteria, Agostino and Danilo visited us at the company to experience the quality and test the comfort of our seating.

Among shapes, fabrics and sensations, their choice fell on an icon of elegance: the Bruxelles model.

To harmoniously integrate into the Venetian atmosphere—classic, refined and timeless—we have taken care of every single sartorial element:

Seat and internal backrest: Upholstered in a soft light beige-cream velvet, to give brightness and warmth to the interior.

Rear seat backrest: Personalized with a refined lily motif on a darker beige texture, embellished with subtle touches of red and blue.

Trimmings: Finished with an elegant dark red cord, which gracefully picks up the shades of the floral decoration.

Base: Matt black legs, designed to match the finish of the table base plates.

In Venetian spaces, aesthetics must always interact with functionality. To meet the space constraints of the room, we redesigned and modified the angle of the Bruxelles chair's legs. This custom intervention allowed us to minimize the seat's footprint without sacrificing ergonomics, exploiting and enhancing every available centimeter.

Today, the dining room of Osteria Santa Marina welcomes guests in a refined atmosphere deeply rooted in the soul of Venice. A project that combines sartorial excellence with bespoke precision, the result has transformed the restaurant while preserving its charm.
