Hotel Eccher

A unique lighting for the Hotel Eccher.

The Eccher Hotel's dining room boasts stunning lighting. Facing west, and protected from the extensive shade typical of mountainous areas, the owners of this Val di Sole hotel (precisely) visited our stand in Riva del Garda, where they shared with me their plans to renovate the common areas. Upon receiving the assignment, I immediately highlighted the room's interesting feature to my fellow designers.

This sunlight, which almost always enters from the side, should be the quality to be highlighted first. We experimented with the reflectivity of some fabrics, which, in our experience, were suitable for our purpose. We chose a very particular type of fabric, an iridescent velvet in an ice-sage shade, combined with a geometric print on the backrest. The proposed model of the Bruxelles armchair (BS523A) was received with great enthusiasm.

The enhancement of environments.

I admit that seeing the play of reflections between the set dishes and the chairs arranged around the tables made me want to sit by the window and simply enjoy the room.
